We are moving into the Fall season with a few events that we are involved with locally in our own Salem City! Our next event is October 26th, the Walking Ghost Tour of Salem City's Historic Market Street. Homeowners and guides will share stories of Ghostly Happenings that have occurred in some of the 18th and 19th Century Homes along Market Street. The walk begins and ends at the Royal Port Antiques, along with complimentary refreshments.
Tales during the Ghost Tour will include headless sightings, bodies buried at sea that wander the banks of the Fenwick Creek, tales of the Underground Railroad, sightings of the Jersey Devil and much more. The tour takes a little over an hour and is a $5.00 donation to our Historical Society. There is also a free concert, Tunes From the Crypt, prior to the tour at the Episcopal Church. As we get closer to winter also save the date for this year's Yuletide Tour of Homes, December 1st from 1-6pm. This is the 31st Annual with over 30 locations including Historic Sites, Churches and Museums as well as 18th &19th Century Private Homes. This is always a great tour. It's also our busiest day of the year. We will be having an Open House during this event. Our shop will be decked out for the holiday season. You'll be treated to plenty of hot drinks and baked goods. Always a great day in Salem. Follow the links to the Facebook pages for each event to get more details or feel free to call the shop 856-339-0400. Tickets will be available at the Royal Port for both events. Enjoy the Fall Season!
