February has been a blurr of movement. We acquired what
I would call some really "cool" pieces of industrial salvage and history from a Philadelphia Print Shop. Salvage & Son (Mike) was spotted by many of our customers traveling on several occasions with overloaded pickup truckloads full of our latest acquisitions. The term Sanford and Son
has been mentioned often. I have become addicted to the industrial carts. Those that know me know I like order. The carts create an instant space for the shop's vignettes. They have transformed the second floor of the shop.
The other items we found also include iron bases, metal work tables, benches and stools. What were once items used for printing and binding are now making their way into the homes and workplaces of others. These items were the tools of the printing industry before the digital age. To see more of the industrial items as well as other new inventory go to the February 2014 Album. See you soon. Think Spring! Suzanne
